Michael graduated in June 2020 with a master's degree in rehabilitation sciences and physical therapy.
Michael's interest in the human body and physical therapy only became prominent in his life when, at the age of 18, he exchanged football for distance running. He experienced, for example, how the body changes gradually to meet the needs of his sport. He became the Belgian 5000m champion and has been running internationally for Belgium for several years. It taught him that the body is an incredibly dynamic organism that is constantly adapting and reinventing itself. As a physiotherapist, he tries to let his patients experience the same. Because of his passion, he is constantly doing self-study on endurance training, injury prevention, strength training and so on. Michael tries these things himself and applies them in his own training programme, and believes that both sporty and less sporty patients can benefit from this.
