How can I make an appointment?

Making an appointment is easy:

We always try to find a suitable time as quickly as possible, even for urgent complaints.
However, it's not always possible to answer the phone during a treatment. Please call back at another time or contact us by another means (e.g., email).


Do I need a doctor's prescription for physiotherapy?

A doctor's prescription is required to undergo physiotherapy and to be eligible for reimbursement by the health insurance fund .

How much does a physiotherapy session cost?

The price of a physiotherapy session depends on the type of treatment. All our therapists are non-contracted. We follow the recommended rates provided by Axxon, our professional association.

Current rates (as of 1/1/2026):

  • First appointment (60 minutes): €80.00 (including administration costs €32.00)
  • Follow-up appointment (30 minutes): €41.00 (supplemental home visit €3.00)
  • Osteopathy: €73.00

The RIZIV rate applies to patients with an increased reimbursement

What if I have to cancel my appointment?

If you are unexpectedly unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance . This way, we can help someone else. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

Is physiotherapy reimbursed by health insurance?

Yes, physiotherapy is partially reimbursed by your health insurance fund , provided you have a valid doctor's prescription.
The exact refund amount depends on:

  • your status (e.g. increased allowance)

  • the type of condition

  • the number of sessions allowed

After a series of treatments you will receive a certificate for reimbursement .


For what complaints can I contact you?

You can come to our physiotherapy practice for, among other things:

  • back and neck complaints

  • muscle and joint pain

  • sports injuries

  • rehabilitation after surgery or accident

  • posture problems

  • overload and stress-related complaints

  • ...

Each treatment is tailored to your specific situation.


How many physiotherapy sessions do I need?

The number of sessions varies per person and per complaint. Some complaints improve quickly, others require longer rehabilitation. We regularly evaluate your progress and discuss this transparently with you.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

For your first physiotherapy session, please bring:

  • your doctor's prescription

  • your identity card

  • any medical records or imaging

  • comfortable clothing

  • a towel

What clothing should I wear during the treatment?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move easily. Depending on the treatment, it may be necessary to leave the area to be treated uncovered.

Will I be given exercises to do at home?

Yes, you'll often be given home exercises, because at Movus we believe that home exercises are an important part of treatment. They help you progress faster and prevent long-term complaints.

Do you also offer home visits?

Yes, home visits are possible for patients who have difficulty moving. This is always done in consultation and based on medical necessity.

How is my data protected?

We handle all your medical and personal data with care and confidentiality , fully in accordance with applicable privacy legislation ( GDPR ). Information is only shared with other healthcare providers if necessary and with your permission.
