Michael Somers
physiotherapist
Michael graduated in June 2020 with a master's degree in rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy.
Michael's interest in the human body and physiotherapy only became prominent in his life when he traded football for distance running at the age of 18. He experienced how, for example, the physique gradually changes to meet the needs of your sport. He became Belgian 5000m champion, and he has been competing internationally for Belgium for several years now. It taught him that the body is an incredibly dynamic organism, constantly adapting and reinventing itself. As a physiotherapist, he tries to make patients experience the same. Because of his passion, he is constantly self-studying about endurance training, injury prevention, strength training and the like. Michael tries these things out himself and applies them in his own training program, and believes that both sporty and less sporty patients can benefit from this.
